The 5 hectre Maersk Container Park is part of Salta’s 40ha inland intermodal port at Nexus Industrial Estate in Altona.
The project included:
- 20,000 litre container wash bay facility
- 2,500sqm container repair workshop facility
- 1,500 square meter container survey area
- Pre-trip facility with reefers for up to 180 TEU of refrigerated containers
- 43,000sqm hardstand allowing for handling of both import and export containers
