Newcrest Telfer

Newcrest is the largest gold producer listed on the ASX and the Telfer Gold Mine is located in the Great Sandy Desert, approx 500km inland from Port Heldland in WA.

ATG Consultants have provided mechanical, electrical and hydraulic engineering services for various projects including:

  • New site operations centre (SAOC)
  • Artesian Bore upgrade with several new pump stations and 6.5km 24″ water main from the borefield to the Raw water dam to support mining operations
  • Upgrade of static water storage tanks and pipe network
  • Upgrade of services at the primary power station and secondary power station
